It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Max Durling, age 89, of Maple Ridge, on October 10th, 2025, peacefully at Holyrood Care Home.

Born August 27th, 1936 in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada,  He is survived by his two sons Michael and Shawn, grandchildren, and his daughter-in-law. 

He will also be fondly remembered by his friends.

Don loved the outdoors, and found joy and peace in forests and mountains up at the Cariboo. His passion for motorcycles, the rodeo, dog training and fishing, was where Don was at his happiest.

Don's legacy is one of warmth, and a deep love for his family. He will always be remembered by his full hearted laughter and big smile.

He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
