Calum Angus Matheson
Calum passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025.
Calum is survived by his sister Mary (Jim), nephew Alan (Tara), nieces Heather (Russ) and Denyce.
The Funeral will be held on December 9th at 11:00am at the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969 216th Street, with burial at the Maple Ridge Cemetery at 12:30pm. Tea and snacks will be served in the Tea Room of the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel at 1:00pm.
The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to everyone who worked with Calum over the years at Magaw House, Cook House and Greystone. Everyone is welcome to come.

My memories of you brings a smile to my face. I love the memory of us washing the Magaw House van together, and your job was to wash the soap off with the hose, when all of a sudden you took the hose to me, I screamed, and you laughed this huge belly laugh, which made me burst out laughing. I loved when you sat outside Webster’s Corner store, and as we drove by we would think, “there’s our Calum!” I think he was everyone’s Calum. I admired his stubborness, and how he stood his ground. And I loved how he appreciated a plate of homemade cookies. Always a gentleman, and forever in our hearts.
