Wayne was born in 1948 to Frank and Sophie Sitter. He and his brothers, Robert and Raymond, enjoyed the rural lifestyle of Richmond, BC; Butch, his best friend in childhood was his best friend to this day.

Wayne and Linda were married in 1972 and they raised two wonderful children, Jordan and Meaghann.  Wayne’s career as a banker took the family of four to many locations throughout Western Canada.  They made lifelong friends throughout these years.

After retirement, Wayne and Linda had many years of travel adventures and after the travel bug subsided, they spent quality time camping and fishing, most often at Lac le Jeune.

Wayne blossomed in retirement. He loved cooking, baking, gardening, riding his bicycle, and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens and Fighting Irish.  Family get-togethers were always a highlight for Wayne, particularly time spent with his three granddaughters whom he adored beyond words.

We weren’t ready for him to leave us, but he lived life fully on his terms and we are grateful for his time on earth. He will be missed by Linda; son Jordan (Jackie) and daughter Meaghann (Ryan); three beautiful granddaughters, Abigail, Zoey and Jasmyne, his brother Raymond, many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Wayne at a later date.
