It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a kind and loving woman, Valerie Ruth Allan.  Born on September 14, 1953, and gone from this world on December 28, 2022, 69 years young.  She passed away peacefully at home, with her only daughter, Sandra at her side. She was near her closest family until the end, her and son-in law Pete, grandchildren Makena and Viena, as well as in-laws Tiia and Alpo. She has a loving extended family and dearest friends Lorna, and Verlene.  Valerie was predeceased by her mother, Ruth and brother, William and grand-daughter, Rachel.  

Valerie was thoughtful and kind and always willing to lend a helping hand, she was such a blessing to the people she cared about.  She was a legendary cook and baker, lavishing her friends and family with her culinary delights.  She was also an artist, spending hours on diamond art, which she gave as gifts of love.  She enjoyed movie nights, scrabble games and was an avid reader. She doted on her little dog, Cassie, her little shadow. Valerie was a wonderful woman, mom, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.   She was always smiling and laughing, the world was a better place with her in it.  She will be dearly missed.

She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. 

Celebration of life will be held in the spring.
