In Loving Memory of Tyler Cecil Reid

With hearts filled with sorrow, yet filled with gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the sudden passing of Tyler Reid, who, at the age of 33, left this world far too soon. He was a devoted spouse, a nurturing parent, a son, and a brother. 

Tyler was preceded in death by his Grandparents Cecil Reid and Anna Reid and his much-loved pets Tabby, Wylie(Bobo), Edward, Augy, Ripley, Brady, Khoda, and Porky. Tyler is survived by his wife Kerry Reid and their 4 children Jayden, Easton, Byron, and Amara; his mom Terry Squires and stepdad Paul Squires; his dad Darryl Reid and stepmom Chris Bayers; his sisters Sarah Reid and Natasha (Ryan) Fletcher; his brothers Brendan Reid and Ashton Reid and his many nieces and nephews.

Though our hearts ache, we find solace in knowing that Tyler’s love continues to surround us every day.

We invite all who knew and loved Tyler to join us in celebrating his extraordinary life. A celebration will be held from 2pm to 4pm, January 26th at the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel in the Elliott Hall. We will have a memory box set up and ask that you share your memories of Tyler so we can share these memories with his children. 

Tyler loved animals and through the years, rescued strays and fostered some. In lieu of flowers, we would ask that you make a donation in Tyler's name to your local SPCA.
