Sadly, Shelley June Mason left us on February 1st, 2026.  She was successfully treated for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2018, but the cancer came back to different parts of her body and it wasn’t discovered until she started to suffer a lot of pain. 

Shelley was born on June 13, 1960 in Maple Ridge Hospital.  She is survived by her mother, Lenora Hellquist, her 3 children: Joseph Carl Schembri, Richard Coulson Mason, Victoria Mason, and her 3 grandchildren: Joey, Lily and Luna. 

Shelley lived in the Lower Mainland all her life.  She worked for many years as an insurance agent in Mission, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and Abbotsford, and many will remember her friendly face at the ICBC insurance booth. Shelley loved music and going to the lake.  She will be remembered by her family and friends as the loving, forgiving, impetuous, beautiful person that she was.
