Our beloved Rob passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, in the early morning of March 4, 2024. Throughout his journey, Rob's courage and lighthearted approach were truly remarkable. Even in illness, he kept those around him at ease, shielding them from the pain of watching him suffer. Instead, he embraced life's incredible challenges with humor, sharing laughter and taking care of those he cherished.
The outpouring of love and support from lifelong friends, colleagues, and apprentices sustained him through his toughest days. Rob will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by the love of his life and wife, Shawn; their sons, Jeffery and Dylan; his loving and ever-supportive parents, George and Sandra; his older sister and trailblazer, Jennifer, with her husband Paul; his twin brother and partner in mischief, Dave, with his sons Daniel, Tyler (with wife Allyssa and son Liam), and Matthew; his younger sister, Kate (known fondly as Sassafras), with her husband Doug, and their children Nathan and Hanna.
In our family, Rob will always be remembered as a hero—someone you could rely on, always ready to stand by you. His infectious laughter lit up any room, and his steadfast support for the underdog made him truly exceptional. Rob's enthusiasm for life and perpetual inner child made everyone feel accepted and valued. Though his larger-than-life presence is deeply missed, his spirit will live on forever in our hearts.

I first met Rob back in 2009-2010. He definitely was quite the character, with a unique laugh, that could be mistaken for no other.
Rob was more than a friend, he was the guy who would always have your back, but also catch you some quick witted retort when the opportunity presented itself.
Rob you definitely were one of a kind, and a great friend. You may be gone, but will never be forgotten.
This is not the end, but a mere pause until we meet again my friend.
Love ya my brother
