It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Raymond Stein on December 7th 2025. He was a beloved son, and brother. He is survived by his brother Michael.
Richard loved football, and played and coached the sport for many years. He was an animal lover who had many cats and dogs over the years that he loved dearly. He also had a passion for gardening, and being outdoors. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor and he will be greatly missed.
January 1st, 2026
I played for Dick in 1975 and we hit it off immediately. After every practice and game it was always him and I as the last two to leave the clubhouse. Talking football and life in general over a few beer. I was the oldest player on the team but a rookie because I hadn't played football since high school missing four seasons. Playing for Dick I was hooked and went on to play six more seasons in the states in semi pro. RIP Coach Stein.
