Rene Beaulieu, age 94, passed away peacefully at Royal City Manor in New Westminster surrounded by family.
He will be lovingly missed by his three sons Adrian (Vicky), Gerald (Darlene), and Julian; grandchildren Shelby (Aaron), Michelle (Josh), and Nolan; and great grandchildren Cleo, Kaydence and Czarli. He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Georgette, who passed away on October 4, 2020.
Rene was born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan, one of 10 children. His sister, Noella, is his last surviving sibling.
Rene and Georgette raised their sons in a beautiful home they custom built in Port Coquitlam and had many wonderful memories for quite a few years before moving to their home in Maple Ridge.
Rene worked in the forest industry his entire life until retirement. His favourite activities were camping, Sunday drives, playing saxophone, prospecting, and inventing. He and Georgette loved to attend jazz festivals with family and friends.
He was a true family man who loved his wife, sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. He is deeply missed and will live on in our hearts forever!
The family offers their thanks to the caregivers at Royal City Manor.
A Celebration-of-Life will take place at a later date to be announced.
