It is with great sadness that we announce that Natasha Rose Wiens (Wallden) passed away from cancer Aug. 6, 2025.

Natasha is pre-deceased by her father Gerald Wallden. Left to mourn her loss are her husband Terry Wiens, children Carlie Perrins (Simon), Ashley Tilburt (Richard) and her grandchildren. Mother Nancy Wallden and sisters Sabrina Wheeler (Doug), Vanessa Isaaks (Mark), Zina Johannson (Orlando) and all of her beloved friends and relatives.

Natasha, born in Whitehorse, YT, grew up in Haney, BC. It was there she met her husband of 46 years, and raised a family. Natasha was a successful business owner in Maple Ridge for many years. Her hair salon, Feather’s, was an amazing place to visit, full of warmth and laughter. Natasha was a movie buff, exceptional chef and always on the lookout for an adventure. She loved spending time with her family, road-tripping with her husband, hosting excellent parties, having a good laugh, and never turned down a plate of Chinese food.

Kind, generous, and loving, Natasha was important to many people and will be missed terribly. She was simply the best.

Please join us on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 am for a graveside service at the Maple Ridge Cemetery, 21404, Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge. A Celebration of Life will follow from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the Maple Ridge Alliance Church, 20399 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge.

Almost 50 years ago I met Natasha. We soon realized that we had “2” loves in common, my brother “Terry” and “hairdressing”.
She and I worked together at Elspeth’s and soon after we joined forces at Feathers Hairstyling Salon. We spent many fun filled days and years working together and eventually bringing Zina into the mix and later on my Mom.
We soon realized we had another 2 loves to share, our babies, I gave birth to my Tara and 7 months later Carlie was born. That was such a great time full of firsts and sharing them all. A few years later 2 more loves arrived, Ashley came along and months later so did my Nikki.
Our 4 girls became the very best of friends are now in their 40’s they still are. When the girls became school age Natasha and I would sit, have coffee and a cry on the first day of school, we would miss having them home.
I can’t count all the Christmas parties, Boxing Day and birthday parties and all the love we shared through the years. Family is everything and Natasha was “tiny” but a larger than life presence in our family!
My parents both loved her and she was so good to them, especially our little Mom.
I loved Natasha very much and I’m so happy my last words to her and hers to me were just that “I love you”❤️
I will miss her and forever remember all the “loves” we shared.

Natasha was full of life and laughter. I have some good memories growing up in Maple Ridge. My sister and I spent a lot of time with the Wallden girls. Definitely some good times. I went to Natasha’s graduation ceremony, my sister was graduating as well. I’m so sad to hear she passed. She was taken far too young. My sincere condolences to the family and all who knew this sweet lady. Safe travels Natasha, till we meet again. 🙏

Auntie was like a magician to me growing up. She was tiny with a smile almost bigger than she was and she had this way of making the ordinary extraordinary. Tea parties were enchanted with Blue Wine (water and food colouring), movies were always a little dark (which made them awesome!) and holidays were always yummy with amazing spreads, some of the tasty treats I’ve never seen at another table. Auntie Natasha remained a magician to me all through out my life. With her passing we’ve all lost a bit of magic but the memories she left us with are cherished. Love you Auntie❤️

Natasha's sparkling smile is forever ingrained in my memory. She touched many lives and her love of family and friends really stands out. Some special, shared times come to mind: Natasha and my sister, Janet, sitting at the kitchen table doing their homework, Natasha's and Terry's wedding, the time they arrived as Beauty and the Beast at a Halloween party, and an overlapping holiday on Oahu with both of our families. Such cherished memories. Natasha will be forever in our hearts.

Our sincere condolences,

Lynda & Bruce Krebs
