It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathleen Mary Rose “Kathy” Lilley (née Donoghue) of Maple Ridge on April 22nd, 2026, at the age of 88.

Kathy was predeceased by her husband, Fred Lilley; her brother, Timothy; her son, Calvin “Bud”; and daughter, Barbara. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings, Nora (Ron), Pat (Brenda), Mary (Bill) and John (Tesa); her children, Beverly (Bruce), Kelly (Shannon) and Heather; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

If you had the pleasure of visiting Kathy’s home, you would have been greeted by a plethora of photos of the people she loved and who brought her joy, and been told a story to match. She was active in her community and always kept busy, whether that was in her many crib leagues, bowling leagues, or volunteering for organizations such as the Ladies Auxiliary, the gift shop at Ridge Meadows Hospital, or the Legion. She was cherished by her family and friends, and she never missed an opportunity to make a friend or have a chat. Her smile and laughter will be missed by all who had the honor of being on the receiving end of them.
