We sadly announce the passing of our mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marlene Stephanie Orser. Marlene was born in Vancouver, BC,  January 28th, 1936 and passed away May 16th, 2025, peacefully in her sleep at her care facility in Pitt Meadows, BC.

 The middle of three children, Marlene grew up in Vancouver, and married her husband of 61 years in 1953, then living her adult years in Coquitlam, Port Moody, and mostly in Maple Ridge. She loved animals, especially her dogs, and spent her happiest years on their small hobby farm in Maple Ridge, where she enjoyed her gardens, and raising their cows and chickens. 

Predeceased by her husband Harry, her brother William and sister Leslie, she is survived by her 2 sons Stephen in Victoria, and Michael in Naramata.  Also grandchildren Sarah (Chris), Melissa (Josh), Brett (Michelle), Khyl (Samantha) and Kaitlyn (Adam), and great-grandchildren Brennan and Evie.

Special thanks to the staff of The Wesbrooke Seniors Home  for caring for Mom over the last few years.
