Marie Jeanne Duhamel
August 19, 1926 – June 22, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Leo, seven siblings, and her son-in-law, Bruce Wiens.
Left to mourn her loss are her five children: Richard, Linda, Kenneth (Kim), Raymond (Sylvia), David (Tami); her brother, Roland Saltel, her seven grandchildren; Dean, Lori, Chatnee, Chad, Quintin, Becky, Korine; sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at The Cottage Pavilion in Abbotsford, where she spent the last nine years of her life.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 12:30 pm at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 22561 – 121 Avenue, Maple Ridge.

Sincere condolences to the whole family. I remember your Mother as such a lovely lady, she and my Mom used to chat up a storm every now and then. You know those French Canadians! She raised such a wonderful family. May she rest in peace.
