It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Loraine Bready, who departed this life on July 9th, 2025, at the age of 86. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Born on August 18th, 1938 in Burnaby, BC, Loraine was a woman of great strength, grace, and unwavering love. She dedicated her life to her family and gave endlessly of herself to ensure their happiness and well-being. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her,
Loraine is survived by her children Darlene, Todd (Pina), Tracy (Rick) and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Norm, son Bob, sister Betty, and brother Bill.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Loraine will be remembered for her dedication to her family and friends. With the athletic ability that Loraine carried in life, you can see how her children and grandchildren followed in her footsteps. Her legacy lives on in the lives she shaped and love she gave so freely.

Though we mourn her deeply, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, and we will carry her love with us always.

Loraine was a remarkable woman whose warmth, kindness, and love touched everyone around her. Her memory will forever live in our hearts, and I hope family find comfort in knowing how much she was loved and appreciated. I miss her.

The right words never seem to flow, but they are not wrong either. I will always remember the Loraine chuckle. Every time I saw her she had a smile and hug for me, that meant so much. Loraine, Norm is waiting to chase you around the kitchen again. 😊💕 sending everyone condolences and much love.

Auntie Loraine was such an amazing person inside and out. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandma. I appreciate how she took pride in being a parent and home maker. I will always treasure her hugs and laughter. Thank you Auntie you left the world a better place. Condolences to my cousins and extended family
