Laura, or Mom which many of Sean's close friends called her. Mom was loud she always knew how to make a entrance. "Mom's here guys!!!!!" Always there for "her boys" birthday celebrations with the best hugs. If you needed advice Mom's ear was the best one to bend. And she whould be straight up, whether you wanted to hear it or not.

John phoned us and told us they were back from their holiday and told us about Laura could not believe it whenever she came down we had a good visit Laura always had the floor she was smart and she was a very organized person so much so we will miss her love and prayers for John and his family John you are welcomed any time 💗 John and Ann

Laura and I met in 1959 at Seaforth Elementary School in Burnaby BC in grade 1. We became fast friends that spanned a lifetime. Laura moved to Port Coquitlam in grade 7 but we remained in contact. We were in grade 10 when Laura & Neil invited me to a party and introduced me to my now ex husband. We lost touch for some years but reconnected and continued to phone each other on our birthdays. Laura great sense of humour was much like her mother’s and she was always so Jolly. Gone but never forgotten. My condolences to the family at this time of loss.

When my husband Tony and I moved into our condo in the Cedar Downs complex in 2013, Laura and John lived in the condo directly above us, but we really didn’t get to know Laura until she and Tony served on the strata council. For 5 years they worked together doing their very best to serve all the owners and renters in the complex. Obviously during those years she spent a lot more time with my husband than she did with me and she would playfully tease me that I had become the other woman and together we would laugh both well aware it was only a joke. But I was lucky enough to get to know the kind of person Laura was. She had a big heart, and was generous and kind. If you needed help you could call her and she’d be there for you. It’s hard to believe that such a vibrantly beautiful soul is gone. We will miss her! Our condolences to John and family.

I remember when I was younger (before my teenage years) me and my sister Drew would go over to nana and papas place and spend the night there, we’d always laugh and joke around, then we’d settle down for the night by watching a movie and going to bed. We made many memories together and I’ll always hold them close to my heart, especially the ones where we laughed to hard that it hurt after, or the time when we went to go visit great great aunt Rhona it was a really sunny day and we all got dressed up for her, that’s what I loved most, was making memories with my nana. This photo is from when we went and visited great great aunt Rhona.

I was just a little girl when I met Laura at lacrosse Games, my older brother played and I was the cheer leader for the poco Saints.. Laura always greeted me coming back to the stands with a smile and a great job Lisa.. her smile lit up a room and a laugh that I will forever hear.. you will be missed Laura. Sending all my love to John, Sean, Brooke and family.. rest in paradise

Laura was a great woman with a huge heart. She always had a way to make everyone feel welcome. She was a very funny person. Her sense of humor could make a priest blush. She also made the best Mac and Cheese. I will always cherish the time spent with Laura. Love ya second mom. Rest in peace. Say hi to Kitty for me.
