It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kim Harder (Aird), on Thursday November 20th 2025. Kim was 72 years old when she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Kim was the second daughter born to Gerald and Glenda Aird of Burnaby, BC where she resided for her childhood and into her late twenties.
In 1974, Kim married Garry Harder. They would move to Maple Ridge, and start a family. In July of 1980, they welcomed their one and only child Dawn Illerbrun (Neil) into the world. Kim and Garry would end up building a business and a life together in Maple Ridge.
Kim had two wonderful grandchildren that she loved very much. Kaleb and Ella were very special to her and she loved being their grandma.
On November 19th, they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. Kim and Garry enjoyed travelling, cruising, being in the company of friends and family, and going to the casino.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Ridge Meadows Hospital for their kindness and compassion during this most difficult time.
As per Kim’s wishes, there will be no service.

I am so saddened to read this news. I very much enjoyed chatting with Kim every two weeks and sharing laughs with her and would look forward to our time together.
