On March 15th we said goodbye to John (Ian) Paisley a beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend to many. With his friendly smile and passion for his family he will be dearly missed. Although his journey with us has paused, he continues on to be reunited with the love of his life, wife Marion.
John is survived by his daughter Alison, son John, daughter in law Jan and three amazing grandchildren, Kayla, Kieran and Ethan. John was always there to support his family and friends. No service by request.

Hi Grandpa,
I’m sure Grandma welcomed you with the biggest hug up there in heaven. I miss you dearly, there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think about you. You and Grandma helped mum raise us and I am forever grateful. I’m so proud you’re my grandpa and so lucky to have been able to love you. I miss your eyes, your smile, your voice, your company, your advise, but most of all I miss resting my head on your chest. I love you so very much, Grandpa, and I’ll carry you in my heart until the day we meet again at those golden gates. Love you always, your granddaughter xoxo ♥️🪽

Goodbye, wee brother. I remember the good times we had in London Road, and how happy I was to help you in Paisley’s Bakery when Victor and I visited you and Marion. I’ll miss you. Love Charlotte.
