Jeremy Mark Domaas tragically passed away on December 22, 2025.

Lovingly survived by his parents, Brad Domaas (Jacinta Domaas) and Christina Shields; sisters Emily Shields and Madelyn Domaas; grandparents Mark Domaas & Diane Domaas, Doreen Brough (Robert Brough) and Kenneth Shields.

Jeremy grew up and lived in Maple Ridge for most of his life.  At 24 years old, he was only just beginning his life as an adult and so many adventures were in store for him.  Jeremy enjoyed off-roading with his friends, bonfires, and gaming.  He was eager to learn more about heavy duty mechanics and liked working with machines.  Jeremy had dreams of one day becoming a husband and father, and creating lifelong memories.

Jeremy could always make you laugh with his quick wit and smart remarks.  He cared for his two sisters deeply, and always wanted the best for them.  Jeremy was so much more than a good son, brother, cousin, friend, and companion.  He was, and will always be loved.

Jeremy's family will always remember the sweet, quiet and shy boy he once was; lighting up every room with his beautiful smile and bright eyes.  He was curious, inquisitive, and always wanted to know more.  The memories of the kind, compassionate man that he grew into will be cherished forever.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 15th, 2026 at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel (11969 216 Street)  You may wish to write a private letter to Jeremy, that will be added to his casket after the service.

Life is a journey, In which yours got cut way too short. You had dreams, so much left to do.
But heaven needed someone as special as you.
Our hearts will always hold on to all the wonderful memories we made in your short life.
Our last visit was a lunch at Red Robins, your favourite place, lots of love and laughter was there.
We gaze at the stars, and when we see some light, we know you are sending down comfort , assuring all is right.
There will be many family members up there waiting for you with open arms.
Rest in peace our dear Jeremy, you will be missed more than you ever know.

Jeremy and I always had a warm friendship filled with lots of love and laughter. We are also both redheads which not many are so that was something that always bonded our spirits closer together. I’ll never forget the jokes (he’s incredibly funny), and the hours we’d sit in each other’s cars just talking about life. What a remarkable soul to have been placed on this earth. I love you lots Jeremy. When we rejoin in whichever place you’ve travelled in the universe, I know we’ll continue to have each others backs.
