Harry Robert (Bob) Neill
The family is sad to announce the passing of a wonderful, loving, caring husband, father, grandfather and friend. Bob Neill passed away on March 29, 2024 with his wife Ruth and their two sons Dale and Craig by his side.
Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, Ruth, his sons Dale, Craig (Shelley) and two wonderful grandchildren, Connor and Braydon who brought him much joy and happiness over the years.
Bob retired from the C.A.Forces in 1976. He then moved on to managing retail paint sales. Due to health issues, he completely retired in 1997 and enjoyed traveling with Ruth. In August 2023, he was diagnosed with his second bout of cancer. He fought it bravely but on March 29th, the Lord took him to his Heavenly home. Bob’s strong faith kept him positive throughout his journey. He will be greatly missed by his family.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, April 20th at 3:00 pm at Hope Lutheran Church (3151 York Street, Port Coquitlam).

Jean, Charlene and I met the Neill family over half a century ago.
From the outset we realized that we were in good company. As time passed we had many happy times together. Bob was a sensible, honest, reliable, compassionate, generous man of integrity.
Our world is poorer for his loss.
We will miss him. We will never forget him

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing the Neill family from when they first moved to Maple Ridge. Bob always represented the best in family values and what is means to a great father in the community, and yes he always kept us on our toes. He will be missed.
