With love, we announce the passing of Giuseppe Alfredo Bombardieri ("Al").

Born in Calgary, Alberta, he lived most of his adult life in Vancouver. A man of deep faith, Al was a dedicated social worker, joyful dancer, and lover of good food - especially Italian cuisine shared with family and friends.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine, and eight siblings, he is lovingly remembered by over 50 nieces and nephews and their spouses, numerous godchildren, and many dear friends and parishioners. Affectionately known as "Uncle Al", he leaves a legacy of kindness and community.

Service Details:

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (2465 Crown Street, Vancouver). Rev. Leo English and Rev. Babu Mathew, con-celebrating.

Urn Interment will take place at Gardens of Gethsemani on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2:00 pm, Rev. Babu Mathew, presiding.
