It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce that Jerry passed away peacefully at the Maple Ridge hospital after a lengthy illness.
Jerry will be sadly missed by his daughter Laurie (Paul) and his son Bradley (Rita).
Jerry was a staunch supporter of his community acting as a volunteer RCMP officer, a commodore, a local Power Squadron, Exalted Ruler of the Port Coquitlam branch of the Elks. Above all he was dedicated to his family.
Jerry owned and operated Haida Truck Parts in Burnaby for many years with family members. After Jerry retired, he enjoyed many years of travel with family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors at the Maple Ridge, Ridge Meadows Hospital for making Jerry’s last days as comfortable as possible.
The Interment will be on March 14 at 1:00pm at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Gravesite service only.
