I'm forever grateful for knowing Gerald. He walked into our boardroom 16 years ago and quickly became the heart, soul and humor of his 'work family'. Gerald estimated that he trained, or had a role in training over 30 special provincial constables, creating a unique legacy of excellence. Gerald was kind, patient and empathetic; he was respected by his colleagues and everyone he engaged. We called him our friend and brother. He brought us joy, while showing us how to walk with grace and courage. Eloise and family -- Gerald's work family will always be here for you. Gerald -- I will hold you in my heart forever. 'May flight of angels sing thee to thy rest'. Jan

I was very saddened to hear of Geralds passing. I didn’t know Gerald well having only met him a couple of times, but regarded him as a very warm and friendly person. I have known his wife Eloise for many years and we have had a lot of good times together and some memorable adventures too! My thoughts are with you Eloise and all your family at this difficult time - rest in peace Gerald you will be missed xx

I miss Gerald. The first time I met Gerald was back in 2010 while he and Nav were having one of their friendly verbal sparring matches. It sounded so serious at the time, but as they went on I realized they were joking with each other (phew!). When I spoke with Gerald for the first time, he instantly came across as a warm and caring person. That first impression has never changed.

Rest in peace my friend.

Sending my deepest condolences to Eloise and family during this very difficult time. Gerald will be remembered for his commitment to our ISC team, a friend, and good colleague. I appreciated Gerald's caring approach as he onboarded new colleagues and continued to support throughout their career.
May the memories created with Gerald be the comfort for colleagues, friends and families during this time. RIP Gerald.

Sending my prayers to Eloise and all the family members. I met Eloise 26 years ago as we both worked for the same BC government department. I then met her life partner Gerald. I appreciated Gerald's generosity and welcoming spirit during the many times I stayed with him and Eloise as a house or Glen (trailer) guest over the last 20 years or more. I remember the multiple times I hosted the couple at my residences for a time of fellowship over dinner or lunch. My last conversation with Gerald in January was about prayer. I asked do your believe in prayer and the instant response was yes. Told him I would remember him in my prayers. May you rest forever in peace in the arms of angels.

Dad I love you. All I hear is your voice in my head and I just wish I could lie there cuddling and rubbing your arm like you said you liked forever. I will cherish you always. I miss you so much. And my love for you can not be put into words. I am so very proud of you. I can't wait to run into your arms and wrap my arms around you, to never let you go when its my time. I will continue to keep Mr. Moose alive in your honor. And I will forever strive to be all I can and do my part in this world to make a difference. I will never give up on my hopes and dreams. Your proof that you can make things possible. I hope your at peace and smiling down watching over us. I love you and you brought so much joy, laughter and spirit into the world and the people you encountered. I will do my part to keep you alive through all of you I can share and bring to others and hopefully they will be truly inspired to keep that apart of themselves to continue on through. Don't party and have too much fun up there without me. Leave a little for me too when I join you one day. I'm so glad we made it back to shore that one kayaking day, as I think we would have been shark food together. It was a close call. Your in my heart and I'm always thinking of you.

Thank you for being my dad and loving me for the daughter I am.
