Ernie Lemay     June 18, 1934 – Feb 14, 2025

Ernie passed peacefully in his sleep, at home, and is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marguerite Lemay (nee Jacquiard), daughters Giselle Lemay, and Lori Lemay & son-in-law Tim Hofmann, brother Tony Lemay and wife Colleen, sister-in-law Mimi Bell, many nieces and nephews and cousins.  

Ernie and Marguerite raised their family in Coquitlam.  Ernie joined Canada Post in 1959, retiring in 1989.  After their retirements, Ernie and Marguerite moved to Pitt Meadows, in close proximity to the Pitt Meadows Golf Club, where they both enjoyed good friendships and many rounds of golf.  Ernie was an avid and accomplished golfer and very involved with the club in many different areas, especially with the Junior program.

Ernie will be sorely missed by all who love him.

Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, February 27th at 11:00am at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 20285 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge.
