In loving memory, and with profound sadness, yet gentle relief that she is finally free from pain, we announce the passing of Debbie Ann (Smith) Campbell on Tuesday March 24, 2026 after her long and courageous battle with primary lateral sclerosis (PLS) and, ultimately a cancer diagnosis in 2025.

Debbie was born on July 22, 1954 to her parents Mr. & Mrs. Smith and was the eldest of five children. She carried that role with strength, warmth, and a caring spirit that stayed with her throughout her life.

She was predeceased by her father, youngest sister Robyn, and her beloved son Kristopher. Debbie is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her devoted spouse Lloyd, daughter Angela, and granddaughter Melissa, all of whom were the center of her cherished world.

Debbie will forever be remembered for her quick wit, remarkable memory, and, above all, her boundless and unconditional love. She had a beautiful way of bringing light and laughter to those around her, even in the most difficult times.She also leaves behind her two treasured shepherds, Stella and Roscoe, whose playful spirits and loyal companionship brought her daily joy and comfort.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the compassionate and dedicated staff at McKenney Creek Hospice, whose genuine care and kindness ensured Debbie’s final days were filled with dignity, peace, and respect.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal charity, in honour of Debbie’s love for all animals.

Rest in peace, Debbie / Mom / Grandma. You will be forever loved and never forgotten.  

In accordance with Debbie’s wishes, no service will be held.
