Christopher came into our world December 31, 1982. He was a sweet boy, and became big brother eventually to Matthew and Gregory. Chris was a very social person and usually had lots of friends that he would bring home to hang out. His out-going personality came to light when he was chosen to play the part of Oliver in his elementary school play. My, how the girls loved him! As a teenager, Chris was involved in many different sports, and was also part of Boy Scouts – eventually earning his Chief Scout Award. His love of softball lasted into his adult years.
Christopher met Krystina in high school and married her in 2010. Their family grew by four children, two dogs and two cats! Chris loved to grow vegetables, especially hot peppers. He was an outdoors kind of guy who usually went barefoot, even when playing golf. He climbed Golden Ears Mountain several times with friends, went camping with family and loved to run. Being a dad was one of his great joys.
Chris was a hard worker – always gave 110% no matter what the task was. If you needed a job done, he was your man! He spent most of his life in construction and was proud of the many projects he participated in.
Christopher died December 26, 2024. He is survived by his four children – Chayse, Lukas, Huntyre, Parker and their mother Krystina, his parents Mike & Judy, brothers Matthew & Gregory(Amy), grandmother Ruth and many cousins, aunts & uncles.
A Celebration of Christopher's Life will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church- 12145 Laity Street, Maple Ridge Saturday January 18, 2025 at 1:00pm. A livestreaming of the service will be available on the St. Paul's Lutheran Church website. The link to the website is included below.

Chris' passing has left a huge hole in all of us that had the pleasure to work with him in the trenches. This past week as the news was shared with his old co-workers we got to reflect on all the stories and good times we had with Chris. Chris was a hard worker but he was a better Entertainer!!! We will miss his story telling, the nicknames he gave people but most of all his laugh.
Miss you buddy!!!

Chris and I worked in the same industry, we grew up in Maple Ridge and our kids are about the same age. I feel like we were destined to be friends, and I’m glad we were. His favourite saying to me was: “Ben! Look at the bigger picture”. In your honour and memory Chris, I will keep on looking at the bigger picture in life. His unwavering character and passion to help was what I admired most, along with his brutal honesty. Until we meet again, you and your family will be in my prayers.

I am so shocked and sorry to learn of Chris' passing. My heartfelt condolences to Judy, Mike, Matthew and Gregory.
He was always 'the best big brother to his little brothers', caring for them as much as I did, in my home for a brief while while Mom & Dad worked....
God bless his dear heart and soul.

I got to know Chris during his time at Scouts Canada, he was actually one of the leaders for both my kids in beavers. Chris was really funny and I have fond memories of hanging out with him.I’m sending my deepest condolences.

Chris was in the same Scout group as me. I remember him being a great guy. Mostly remember home having the coolest backpack in the group. It was the same type I use now to pack out elk, moose and deer.
We were never really close nor did we keep in touch but I do remember having a great time with him.
