Cheryl Lynn Warner passed away suddenly and peacefully in her sleep on July 17, 2026. She was born November 12, 1964 in New Westminster to Fred and Rose Deighton. She attended Cariboo Hill before becoming a Medical Office Assistant, a job she held for 42 years.
Cheryl loved to travel, garden, camp and, of course, spend time with friends. Road trips were a favorite as she got to see and visit many roadside attractions and sights. The many friends she travelled with or met along the way will forever be etched in her heart -- many of those friends became family.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Peter, daughter Melanie (Jesse) and loving son, Phillip.
Please join us for a celebration of life on Sat Aug 8, 2026 at 10am at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969 216 Street, Maple Ridge. Please consider wearing bright colors or something purple as it was Cheryl’s favorite colour.

Cheryl was my best friend especially when I needed it most thru my divorce. I went to Peter and Cheryl’s every Saturday after work for dinner, drinks and a sleep over for the past 9 years! They were my family ! We would play games or go to the garage or just sit and laugh at the kitchen island. She will be dearly missed !
