Charlene McMaster, born November 8, 1983, in Alberta, passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver on August 23, 2026, at the age of 42.
Charlene was the daughter of Flora McMaster and Brian Joseph Baptiste and sister to Carla McMaster, Teresa McMaster, Brian Gerald Baptiste, and Dennis Baptiste.
Charlene was a loving mother to her daughter, Charlize McMaster, and a proud grandmother to Ivana McMaster and Luca Sinclair.
Charlene also had a special place in her heart for her two beloved cats, Blitz and Baby Boy. She was devoted to their care and adored the companionship and joy they brought to her life.
Charlene will be lovingly remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched.

I grew up with Charlene and her sister and brother since we were small kids. I remember one time we ate like a whole case of tomato soup one time at her mom and dad's house when they lived down by Dundas street.
Going to miss you Charlene. I'll hold our childhood memories close to my heart.

I remember when my sister Charlene and I were kids, she had this bag full of her stuff—clothes, toys, everything. One time I moved it, and she freaked out! I got in trouble for moving it, but that was Charlene’s bag, and she kept it for years.
I also remember the bridge we had to cross going to Seymour School. Charlene was terrified of that bridge. She would grab my hand and wouldn’t let go until we were safely across.

I remember when I was about four years old, I walked over to my mom with my mouth and cheeks full of milk. She didn’t realize and squeezed my cheeks, and the milk sprayed all over her! We just laughed and laughed together.
