With love and sadness, our family announces the passing of Brian Allan Lou-Hing on October 5, 2025.  He passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by family.

Brian was playful and fun-loving.  He enjoyed fishing, hiking, bike riding as well as movies and music.  He was a gentle soul - curious, creative, and always open to adventure.

He is survived by his siblings, Ronald, Sandra, Bonita, Delbert, and Sharon; his nieces Simone, Amanda, Marie, Stephanie, Lauren, nephew Derek and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Rita, and his brother Dennis.

To honour Brian’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral or memorial service. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life and send him on his final journey.

Our family extends heartfelt thanks to the Maple Ridge Palliative Care team, and the staff and volunteers at McKenney Creek Hospice Residence for their compassion and care.

Brian will be remembered with affection for his humour, warmth, and open heart.
