William Gregory “Greg” Filion died peacefully at home in Maple Ridge, B.C. on November 6, 2015 at the age of 64. Greg is survived by his wife of 34 years, Genine Houghton, and his brother Michael Filion of Nanoose Bay, B.C. Greg was born on June 1, 1951 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to William John Filion and Anna Cosco. Over his lifetime he worked as a union carpenter, and as an Industrial Arts teacher employed in numerous BC school districts for over 20 years.
