Mabel Marjorie Atkinson passed away peacefully on Feb 25, 2014, after 97 years of dignity and pride.

Mabel was an avid sports fan, and spent many hours watching hockey, golf, and of course her favorite baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays. She also had great fun trying out her luck at the Casino. She had a fierce love for her family, and was always in touch with her many friends.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Red Anderson, then husband Jim, her sister Nel, and brothers Ed and Kelly. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Mary, sons Grant (spouse Trena) and Bryan (wife Shelley), grandsons Brody (wife Tamra) and Brock; and extended family and friends.

The family is very grateful to the staff and friends at Sunwood Manor, and McKenney Creek Hospice, for their special care and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Mabel, you will remain in our hearts forever.
