BLATTA, Gladys Leona (Lee).

Lee passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019, after losing her strength to illness. She was predeceased by her brother Norm Bromberger, sister Yvonne Lindberg, daughter Cindy Blatta, and late in 2018, by her husband of 65 years, Jack. She is survived by her sister Verna Volden, residing in Coaldale, Alberta, and daughters Leslie Lynn and Wendy (Ken) Kukkonen, all residing in Maple Ridge. A kind, generous, and fun-loving woman, her unique sense of humour stayed with her to the end. She made a success of herself in a retail career while lovingly bringing up three daughters who became her good friends. She is much loved and will be much missed.

There will not be a funeral service. We would like to thank Baillie House at Ridge Meadows Hospital, and its many great staff members for their good care of Lee. She lived there a short time but it was a happy time and we were blessed with much fun and laughter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lee’s honour to Baillie House, in care of the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation.
