EVANS, Victor Arthur

Victor Arthur Evans left us peacefully on May 31, 2017 while at the Ridge Meadows Hospital. Predeceased by parents William and Christine. Victor will be sadly missed by his loving wife Edith, having just celebrated 65 years of marriage; their son Ronald (Deborah), daughter Debra (Oliver) and grandchildren Jason, Matthew (Kayleigh), Linnea (Jayson) and Ellysa. A positive, hard working and loving man, Victor started his very successful career with Woodward’s Stores Ltd. in 1954 and retired early 34 years later in Pitt Meadows. He will be remembered by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, poker buddies along with the wonderful Woodpens and Phoenix members. In memory of Victor and his wishes of no fuss or muss, his choices of charity are the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Fund. A special thanks to all the doctors and staff at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
