WALTER, Myrtle Jane

August 12, 1931 – June 5, 2017

Known to all as Pat. Predeceased by partner of many years Ron; parents Adam and Myrtle Holtslander; brothers Richard & Charles; sisters Louise and Alice and their spouses; also 3 brothers in childhood. Survived by daughter Terry van der Est (Arnold), grandchildren James (Brittany), Nicole (Cameron) and Michael (Troy); 2 great grandchildren Rhys and Rhiannon as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Pat worked hard for many years at a variety of jobs. Her last job was at Langara College where she was shop steward for the Teamsters Union. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, traveling, reading, bowling and baking all the family Birthday Cakes. She spent time socializing with the Fraser Street Club and the Teamsters Retirees Club. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 12:00pm at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel (Osborn’s), 11969-216th Street, Maple Ridge, BC.
