
Wayne Lillos, born November 5, 1942, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 81 on January 30, 2024 with family and friends by his side.
Wayne is predeceased by his father, Carl and mother, Violet (nee Ostrom). Wayne was survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Catherine (nee Paine), 2 beautiful daughters, Cari (Steve) and Cindy (David), brother Gordon (Pat), sister Maureen, nieces Kelly (Ken) and Courtney, son-in-law Scott, honorary daughter Liz (Geoff) and many more family and friends.
Wayne enjoyed his career as a crane operator and retired in 2005. His dedication to his career was evident as he would often get called to work for years after his retirement. His passion for fishing was renowned. Most often, Wayne would be seen wearing a ball cap, a fishing rod in his hand and bursting with laughter at his own jokes.
After a brief battle with cancer, Wayne peacefully left this world on his own terms with Patsy Cline singing “Sweet Dreams (of you)”
A celebration of life is planned for June 2024.

I just read that Wayne has passed away.
I am thinking of Cathy and the family as you all face this most difficult time.
No words can express the loss of such a great man.. My faithful prayers and thoughts are with you all.
Wayne was a kind and gentle soul.
Wayne’s laughter and sense of humour made every event such a fun time !!
Thank you for sharing your home and hearts with us. Those memories will last a lifetime.
