She was born in Mission City, BC on October 22, 1951 to Margaret and Robert Rock. She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Robert in 1954. Survived by her children, Noelle Elliott-Norgren and Craig Leisen, and her grandson Larz Leisen.
As per her request, she will be laid to rest with a private service at the Maple Ridge Cemetery.
The family is grateful and gives special thanks for the exemplary care provided by the Vancouver General Hospital transplant team, Dr. Kambo, and Dr. Steyn. My mom’s medical team was instrumental in giving my mom hope which resulted in extra time that we had with Trudy.

I took this photograph of my mom on her 70th birthday; she was working hard at GF Strong Rehabilitation Facility. Trudy's hard work paid off and on December 24th she was activated / put on the wait list for a double lung transplant. My mom was on the transplant wait list until her 72nd birthday. I miss my mom very much and I am grateful that she is done with her struggle and that she can breathe easy now. This quote is from her last Mothers Day card: To Mom, My Mother’s Day “Thank-you” There are so many things to thank you for I don’t know where to start, So I’ll just say, “I love you Mom, and thank you with all my heart.” HAVE A HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
