Satendra Patel, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 13, 2023. He was born on July 30, 1935 in Ba, Fiji Islands, the son of Shiva Bhai Patel and Sumitra Bai Patel.

Satendra was a kind and generous man who always put the needs of his family and friends before his own. He was a hard worker and a respected member of his community, known for his honesty, integrity and big heart.

Satendra will be deeply missed by his wife Kamla, children Jay, Sadhana, Dean, and grandchildren, Jade, Aidan, Logan, Reece and Nikhil, who will remember him as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His warm smile, loving presence and great sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a larger-than-life presence and touched everyone in a unique way.

A private family service will be held to honour Satendra's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Canadian Red Cross. Rest in peace, Satendra. You will be greatly missed.
