It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Father and Papa, Salvatore Calla, who passed away surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer on September 18 at 7:25 pm, at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Assunta Calla , brother Biagio Calla and sister Connie Calla. He will be deeply missed by his sons Joseph, Michael and Daniel (Lynn), daughter Tracy Westrand and all of his grandchildren, sisters Maria Calla (Manuele) Lena Calla (Steve) Lorie Starkell (Brian), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends and brother in-law Colin Olson.
In lieu of flowers, all donations can be made to the Salvation Army.

My Dear Cousin, Salvatore (Sam) Calla.
You will be missed. This Fn cancer just doesn't seem to give your family a break. So terrible, sad, and tragic that this happened to such a kind and giving soul. I will forever cherish the good times, the fun and all of the wonderful memories, especially while growing up at your house on Tupper Avenue in Coquitlam. Your legacy will live on. You will be missed by your children, grandchildren, siblings, brother in-law, sister in-laws, cousins, and friends. But now you are reunited with your Wife/Life Partner Barb, your Mom, Dad, Biagio, Connie, & other family and friends. Rest In Peace, Sam.
