Sorry to hear of our cousin Rose’s passing. The Kameka family from Ontario sent our heartfelt condolences to Glen and June and their extended families. We were shown such love and care by Rose and Merick when we first arrived in Canada. They were the first family members we saw and who greeted us with open armed and kindness. Rose will be missed by us all. Norma (Scott) Casleman, Kay Wright (Jerry), Fay Wedemire, Fred Kameka, Louise Wedemire, Perry Kameka, Debbie Obrist, and John Kameka. Rose was a beautiful redhead and a great daughter and mother who loved all her grandchildren dearly. Rose is in heaven with her Merick with a smile on her face. Love to all. Kay Wright.

“Those we love never truly leave us. There are things death cannot touch” -Jack Thorne

We were deeply saddened to hear of Nana Rose’s passing.

Although knowing that she is finally at peace and with her Merrick brings comfort to our hearts.

Rose had a strong spirit & loving heart. She would always let you know what was on her mind whether it be wanting her grandson Andrew to cook her food (hamburger & fries) or loved to seeing his garden grow.
She often told me that I looked beautiful via video phone and that I was a such a good mother to her great grand son Merrick, which made me feel very happy. She loved seeing pictures/videos of him grow up and often told him he was soooo handsome and a such silly little guy.

She will be missed but never forgotten.

To June , Glen and all their extended family we send fond remembrances from the family in New Plymouth New Zealand.
Rose was a special and much loved sister to Bruce ; they always had VERY animated weekly phone calls and Bruce would often tease her by talking Jamaican Patois to which she would say "Brucie , I don't remember that." Rose was a dearly loved sister-in-law and Aunt and the few times we were all able to be together were filled with laughter and reminiscences. Safe at last - RIP Rose
