It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our son, Robert (Bobby) Wayne Kurt Chaston, of Chilliwack, BC, who passed away suddenly at the age of 38, on August 23, 2024.
Robert was born on October 15, 1985 in Brantford Ontario. He grew up in Coquitlam, BC and spent most of his adult life in Chilliwack, where he worked as a construction contractor. Robert was predeceased by his grandparents and is survived by many family members in Ontario and British Columbia.
Respectfully, the family will hold a private memorial to celebrate Bobby.

I am honoured to have known Bobby, he hands down was one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. He had a heart of gold, he helped me get reunited with my mom, my kids and helped me be able to live life. Whether it was a shoulder to cry on or help in any shape or form Bobby was there. He was my best friend and my rock. From the day I met him back in October 2018 till the day that he passed he always trying to do what he could to help. He's a contributing factor to why I am sober today. Humble and stubborn as they come, his genuine caring generous sprit will be forever missed, he truly was one of the most authentic beautiful persons I had in my life.

I am so proud to have been a part of Bobby's life. Shelli and I lived almost beside each other and I started looking after Bobby when he was just a toddler. Bobby was always so very cute with the most adorable face. As he grew up to be a man I would ask Shelli how he was doing. He was always in thoughts. I have fond memories of him, his sweetness and kindness, he will be remembered. With loving thoughts to Shelli and all the family. Mies Mclennan.

I knew Bobby for over 12 years he was the loving father to my grandchild Ava and boyfriend of my daughter Amanda

I only met Bobby a few times when he was very young. He is my 2nd cousin. His mother, Shelli is my cousin.
Sending lots of love, hugs and prayers to Shelli, Paul and all his siblings along with other family and friends. Such a tragic loss!! Shelli, if you see this, my heart is breaking for you and I love you Cuz!!!
