It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rob Tibbitts.
He is predeceased by his mother Olive Tibbitts.
Rob is survived by his partner of 30 years Karen McLaren, his brother Chris Tibbitts (Kathy), sister Elizabeth Powell, sister-in-law Wendy Turpin, nephews Brenden Tibbitts (Emma and Theo), Michael Turpin and nieces Charis, Heather, and Emily.
Rob was born in Vancouver but spent childhood years in California. On return he attended various schools including John Oliver and Vancouver College.
Rob started Dewhurst Design Painting and Black Tie Limo, both successful businesses.
Rob had a huge personality! He loved to laugh and joke. He lived life to the fullest and had many friends.
Rob attended hundreds of concerts, enjoyed drumming and Judas Priest.
Celebration of Life to be announced for early 2025.
Donations can be made to the Asthma Society or Heart and Lungs.
