It is with a great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and wife, Pennie Robertson (Busby) on September 19. She passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side.
Pennie is survived by her husband Dale, son Scott (Taka), daughters Heather (Darin) and Erin (Jon) and siblings Judy, Ed, and Donna. Predeceased by her loving parents, John and Connie Busby and brother Richard.
Pennie took care of her family in every possible way. She enjoyed reading, games with the family and going above and beyond to make every birthday and holiday special, with Christmases being the most magical time of the year. We will all miss her and her humour.
The family would like to thank all the home care support and healthcare professionals who supported Pennie during this time. Donations can be made in her memory to Diabetes Canada.

So many wonderful memories with cousins Pennie and Donna on our Canadian summer vacations. We were always in the water! My heartfelt condolences to her family. Rest in peace dear cousin.

Pennie was like a second mom to me when I was a kid and she really was the epitome of an amazing mother. Everything she did was for her kids and family. When we were kids, she took us to lakes, ice skating, movies...everywhere! We'd dance in the kitchen and got in her way while she prepared food for us brats! She was the mom I now aspire to be. Most importantly, she was always there for everyone she knew and loved. She cared for everyone.
The world has lost a kind soul with her passing but she is at peace now. Sending condolences and love to Heather, Erin, Scott and Dale (the Dad) at this difficult time--love you all.
