It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Milan Bikić, beloved husband to Dušanka Bikic father to Jovo (Stephanie) and Jugana, and very proud deda (grandfather) to Tiana and Ty.

He was born in Radanovci, Yugoslavia on July 27, 1938, and immigrated to Canada in 1966. Milan loved his community, culture, and heritage, and was always one to express how much he loved and appreciated family, and friends. He was known to greet all with a big smile.

He will be so very missed by his family who surrounded him with love. 

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 11:00 am at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel (11969 216th Street). Burial service to follow at 1:00 pm at Maple Ridge Cemetery (21404 Dewdney Trunk Rd).  A reception lunch will be held back at the Funeral Chapel from 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the Bikić family has asked that contributions be made to St. Sava Orthodox Church, Vancouver, BC. All contributions will be donated to the Serbian language school and Vuk Karadžić Folklore group, to honour Milan’s love for all children.
