Mary Anne Sawyer (Mom, Nana or Nana 2) born April 6th,1939 in Gambo NFLD, passed peacefully in the early evening of April 1st, 2023, with family members beside her. Although we are all deeply saddened by her loss, we are comforted in the knowledge that she is now free of the pain and suffering that is dementia.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her husband of 64 years, Larry Sawyer, daughter Sherry, son Kevin (Marisa), daughter Brenda (Donald), seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sisters Sadie & Christine, and her brothers Pete, Bern & Bill.
She will be joining in eternal peace her dad and mom, Maurice and Annie Mackey, and sister Alice who preceded her.
Mom was and always will be the heart and soul of our family.
At Mom's request there will be no service but those wishing to remember her can donate to the Alzheimer Society of BC.

So sorry my loving sister Anne has passed from this world but also happy knowing she is in heaven with family and friends who loved her in this life and now she has no more pain. May she rest in peace.
