BELL, Marjorie Patricia (nee St. Louis)

Marjorie passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord on November 18, 2022.  She is lovingly remembered and will be missed by her son Dale, brothers Roderick (Dolores) and Reynold, Marjorie Peters and many friends.  Marjorie was born in Trinidad on March 17, 1929.  She emigrated to England in 1963 and then to Canada in 1968.  She worked as a nurse’s aide at Riverview Hospital for 11 years and then as a personal caregiver to the Johnston family.  She was a fantastic cook, seamstress, and crocheter.  Marjorie was a devout Christian and was a loving and non-judgmental woman.  She had an indominatable spirit and lived life on her terms.  Thank you to the doctors and caregivers of Holyrood Manor where Marjorie lived the past 8 years.  A celebration of her life will be held at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 11am.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Union Gospel Mission, gratefully accepted.
