It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jordan James Gallop, who left us unexpectedly on January 6, 2025, at the age of 56, in Port Coquitlam, BC.

Born in Fort Eerie, ON, Jordan grew up in Chilliwack BC and then made Port Coquitlam BC his home for many years, a place he cherished and loved deeply.

Jordan was known for his passion and enthusiasm for what he loved, and his fearless sense of humour. His presence was a light in the lives of many. Whether spending time with family, friends, or strangers, Jordan’s warmth and kindness were felt by all. He was always spreading love and giving back to the community, volunteering with SHARE in the food bank and to provide outreach services to help those in need. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.

Jordan is predeceased by his mother Jackie and survived by his daughter Rebecca, son James, parents Jim & Donna, siblings Michael, David & Laura, as well as his Dear housemate Diane and his beloved Cat Hazel. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2pm on Friday January 31st, at Trinity United Church, 2211 prairie avenue, in Port Coquitlam BC. All who knew and loved my dad are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to SHARE Family & community services, where Jordan spent time volunteering, or to take a moment to cherish those around you, as Jordan would have wanted.
