Maple Ridge – We are saddened to announce the passing of Joanne Louise Shaffer (née Nikiforuk), who was born on April 22, 1950, and passed away on June 12, 2025.
She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Anne, and her brothers, Robert and baby Nikiforuk. Joanne is lovingly remembered by her brother, Thomas (Karen), her daughter, Cathy, and her extended family and friends.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Maple Ridge Seniors Village for the compassionate care they provided.
Memorial donations may be made to Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Community Services, which supports individuals and families in the community.
