Our hearts are broken to announce the passing of our most beautiful Jennifer at only 30 years old.  She leaves behind her mom Cathie (Barb), dad Kevin, brother Trevor, nanas (Pat and Lois), as well as many friends and family, and her greatest gift and achievement, her son Liam who is only 8 years old.

After graduating from Pitt Meadows Secondary, Jen went straight to college for an accounting certificate and worked in that field. Then Liam came and Jen enrolled to become an outreach worker and got a townhouse for the two of them.

They were peas in a pod and always together.  She was so proud of Liam, and he thought his fun mom was the greatest thing in the world.  Still does.   He is such a good boy with great manners, a big heart and great personality and that is all to Jen's credit.

The last three years have been particularly difficult for Jen, not working due to car accidents and covid. We saw great successes while Jen was at Hannah House this spring and saw her turn things around.  She was so close. It's ok, I'm fine mom, don't worry.  Just when things were looking stable, she unintentionally left us suddenly and forever, leaving us to wonder what more we could have done.

Our focus is now on Liam, and he has many people in his life to help him along.  We look at him and see Jenny and we will keep her memory alive for Liam who she loved with all her heart.  He will miss her cuddles and praise.  We will take good care of him for you.

Jen was bubbly and over the top.  She loved to eat, massages, manis and pedis and loved all things girly.  We will miss her giant presence in our lives and there was never a quiet day from Jen.  Thirty years is not enough and it's hard to think about life without her.  Jenny was here, she's important and we love her so much.

Thank you for all the kind words about Jen and the support we have received from family, friends, and neighbours during this impossible time.

Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel is kindly and with care handling arrangements for a Celebration of Life to say goodbye November 4 at 1pm, 11969 216 St, Maple Ridge.

This was very sad news to receive today,
I worked with Jenn for a few years at lookout.. we hung out a few times outside of work, I met her son. One time i went over to her place after work ...and I ordered dinner for us 3 ..and just hung out and watched a movie.. one thing I' really admired about Jenn is how much she loved Liam, he also her absolute world and she was an amazing momma to him.. and he just adored her in every way ♡ she will defiantly be missed by many.. and remembered for her always happy and upbeat personality.. I don't think I ever saw Jenn with out a smile on her face or laughing. Always a very haply girl. And was fun to work with. Even though I had to remind her " Jenn we are at work, YOU HAVE TO WORK " LOL. I'll miss all her story's on a Monday morning after her weekend shanagins lol..but know really she was a sweet girl who loved her friends and family more then anything and had THEE biggest heart.

Rest easy Jennn Jennn ♡♡♡♡
Love ya

Poem written for Jen:

Kind light hearted soul.
Infectious Laugh.
Mother, Co-worker, friend.
An advocate willing to help others.
To put others first.
You will forever be in our hearts.
Until we meet again.

Jen was a very dear friend with the most amazing personality. She had the biggest heart. I will hold our memories forever. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t met Jenny. I love you, my Jenny benny. Thanks for always being a good friend.
