Glenna was born on June 19, 1950 in Mission BC to Bruce and Elnora McEachern. She was the second of 4 children Darrel (Kathleen), Angus (Marj) and Debbie (Roger). Glenna leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years, John Murray, her 4 children Brad (Soleta), Jennifer, Aaron (Tessa) and Greg (Jessica) and 12 grandchildren.

Glenna had a deep love and quiet faith in God from age 12 and all her life.

Glenna and John married on May 15, 1970.  She graduated UBC in 1971 with a teaching degree.  Glenna was a home economics teachers for a few years but mainly a mother during the time they lived in Ruskin and Whonnock, BC as well as seven years in Red Deer, AB. 

The family moved back to Maple Ridge, BC in 1990 to help Glenna’s mother, Elnora, manage the original Bruce’s Market.  In 1996 she then managed the new Bruce’s Market along with her brothers and their wives and families until she was diagnosed with cancer 12 years ago.  Her courageous years living with this disease were spent primarily caring for and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, auntie, grandma and friend passed away peacefully on June 23, 2023 in the care of Abbotsford Hospital.
