My mother deserves to be known and remembered for the amazing women she was.  Cheryl Diane Kingswood Lewis passed away on the 23rd day of March in the 23rd year. She was surrounded by her loving family, Julian Titus Lewis her husband of 42 amazing and wonderful years, and her beloved son Jerome Lewis.  She struggled with many things in her life, from her weight, mental health, rheumatoid arthritis and type II diabetes... But through it all she loved everyone the best she could and loved me more than I could ever know or understand. I wish she could read this, so she knows that the love was also felt back from me to her... I pray to God or some spiritual force that if He exists that He sheds his light on her, a kind innocent soul that she was that He gives her the warmth of heaven and eternal happiness she deserves. I pray I find my faith again so I know I can say she is at peace with our maker and that she is finally happy. To be there during her final days was terrifying and I likely will never fully heal from what I had to see, but I am so happy she could have us there for most of it and I could try to speak to her. Mom! If you can read this from heaven, your son loved you dearly and same with your husband my father Julian Titus Lewis. I am an only child and I know Mom I was your one joy or love as you said God gave you the gift. I am so sorry I have led a lifestyle where I couldn't be settled down and bring you the grandkids you deserved to have... But know that even though I wasn't able to grant you the gift of new life that you granted for me the gift of life itself. Please know that I will do my best to honour you and love the memory of you. Let the world know you exist. Let the world know that even though you were not mobile for nearly 2 years, that your memory will be mobile for a lifetime! You are loved! And you will be missed! RIP MY DEAR MOM

Sending my condolences. Cheryl was my best friend in high school. And she was one of my bridesmaids when I got married. Life took us in different directions but I never forgot her. She was a good person.L
