A kinder woman never walked on this Earth. She was always there when I was a kid. Welcoming me into the home she made for Bill, Bruce, Debbie and Ab. Most generous, friendly. You will be missed by many dear Blanche.

Omg, what a gal. She was so good to us kids. She believed in us kids. Even me, in my drunken idiot years.
I adopted her as a second Mom in my teens. For a time I saw Blanche more than my real Mom. I even called her Mom.
Lol, Bill would give me shit..." She's not your Mom", he would say. The whole family was a big spoke in the wagon that led to the sticks.
I'm blessed to have had Blanche in my life and I think of her often, always have, she never judged me...in my life, that list is very short.
Rest easy dear Blanche.
Like at Bruce's wedding, I want to see you on the dance floor, on a cloud, one fine day.

What a huge loss for our Glen Drive community. The end of a Era. I think Blanche touched all of our life's at one point and time. My deepest condolences to Bill, Bruce and Debbie and all of the Slaughter family. RIP Blanche you were loved by many. 🙏❤️
